Hey there! I'm Abi, a 23-year-old animal enthusiast with an unyielding passion for our furry and scaly friends. From my feline companion, Mouse, and guinea pig buddy, Sugar, to my large lively gecko collection, caring for them fills my heart with joy! I also recently welcomed a sweet pup named Benny into my life, who has quickly become a very special part of my family. When I'm not busy loving on my beloved pets, you'll often find me engrossed in a captivating book. I also love immersing myself in mother nature any chance I get, and I enjoy spending time on my Switch playing Animal Crossing.

In addition to my animal-filled adventures, I work full time at the Hamilton County Humane Society from Sunday through Wednesday, 8 AM to 6 PM, where I continue to grow my knowledge and hands-on experience working with animals. I also work a part-time position on Thursdays and Fridays from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Because of this schedule, I am typically available before and after work hours during the week, with Saturdays offering the most flexibility for scheduling.

With over four years of experience in the veterinary field and a total of six years dedicated to animal care, my commitment to their well-being only deepens with each passing day. I am proud to be both first aid certified and animal welfare certified, ensuring the highest standard of care for your pets. Additionally, I am continually furthering my knowledge and education to stay current with the latest in animal care practices.

I am also Fear Free certified, valuing every pet's comfort, happiness, and safety. This certification reflects my dedication to ensuring calm, considerate care approach for each pet I may look after. Fear Free methods, which include the use of treats and calming pheromones, are my best tools and constant companions. I use them with almost every pet I meet to ensure a positive and stress-free environment for all involved.
